Bottle, courtesy of King_Alex_II. A weak and boring brew. Nothing to discover, not much to say. It is drinkable though.

Reddish-amber color with tan ring. Aroma is caramel malts, some berries. Taste is the same. A standard amber ale with a bit too much fruitiness and a bit too little strength. Carbonation is rather low.

Bottled 330ml. -Trade with CH-303 (thanks Asbjorn!) as La Ego. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, alcohol with some fruity touch in the nose. Sweet malty, alcohol, grapes and apples with cheap sparkling wine notes. Also mild nutty notes in the finish. So-so.

Thanks Ogi! Darker golden/amber, slightly misty body, small white head. Smells like, well, wine, cheaper wine, white more than black. Vaguely caramelly too. Fizzy, meaty, bit appley. It’s OK enough, again, cheap wine. Well, if you want beer that tastes like very very cheap homemade wine, this is your pick. Mind you, this is quite unique in its own way and I’m damn glad to have tried it. A vague fruitiness, an even more vague tartness save it from utter mediocrity. It’s still not a particularly good beer though.

This beer had unfortunately a to light body and mild flavor for a beer with almost no carbonation. Could have been an ok porter with some carbonation.
Complete black with no head. Mostly cold coffee, mild roast and chocolate. To flat carbonation.

30cl bottle from Pipetown Traders, pours a watery black with some soapy, white head. Nose has some sour cherry notes, toast and malt, stale coffee, stale cola. Flavor has more sour notes, cherry and raisin, a little vegetal, some caramel finally, toast, molasses. Finishes dry with a hint of tartness. Maybe there’s something wrong, but I liked it either way.

Little 30cl bottle from Pipetown Traders pours a murky orange with some soapy, white head. Nose is odd, very soapy, dried orange peel, some lurking spice, vegetal. Flavor is OK, more of the same, dried orange peel, maybe some tangerine rind too, yeast, some stale bread, soapy. Sudsy finish. Interesting.
