Little hand grenade style bottle pours a hazy yellow with a ring of white head. Nose has floral notes, light honey, light yeast. Very mild though. Flavor has some honey sweetness, mild passion fruit, light lemon, light straw, a little chrystanthemum tea. Watery finish.

30cl bottle from Pipetown Traders pours a murky amber with some frothy, white head. Sour nose, weird, dried lemon rind, vegetal, cooked greens, apple cider vinegar, some odd apple compote. Flavor has some apple sweetness, some brown sugar too, less sour than the nose lets on, orange peel, wood pulp, yeast, straw. Finishes slick and a little bitter. Tastes a lot better than it smells.

At Craft Bier Festival Rapperswil. Pink-red color with white head. Aroma of bananas, dough, yeasty. Taste is more bananas, some grapes maybe, silky mouthfeel. It’s okay, but nothing special. Very balanced. Reminds me of a Hefeweizen a bit.

Tap at CBF. Banana and yeast aromas, very smooth and dry. And you don’t feel the high booze at all.

Tap at CBF. Vinegar and whisky aroma, quite strong. Still some porter left, but mostly whisky and carbonization. The combination works very well!

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($6): pours black with a beige head. Aroma is light chocolate and light coffee. Taste is almost entirely dark chocolate for quite a while. More light bodies than I would think. Still some creaminess. Not a bad beer.

Almost no head; red-brown beer. Faintly smoked, and indeed, delicate fruit, plus faintly hops, with grapefruit//passion fruit. Smoked, phenolic, bitterness from the hops, less fruity than the nose. Baked pisang, smoked. Medium bodied, light feel but not watery. Nice original and intriguing beer.
