Can in a trade with Chalumeaux, Thank you TJ. Aroma is Large amounts of passion, fruit and white grape. Wow this crop gives off huge, tropical notes of passion fruit with a soft black peppery undertones. With just a ton of juicy white grape throughout. Maybe even some pink guava. Texture is dry, yet juicy. Wow, delightful !

Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Opaque, black with thin, quickly fading head, no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, lactose, vanilla. Taste is strong lactose, vanilla over roasted malt. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. A vanilla milk stout. Nothing more, nothing less.

Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Cloudy, light brown-dark yellow, tons of sparkle, thin head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong grapefruit, candied citrus, passion fruit, mandarin orange. Taste is strong (dominant) grapefruit, milder passion fruit, bread. Smooth, frothy, thin texture, light bodied, soft carbonation, finish as taste with dry, yeasty, lightly bitter finish. Taste doesn't quite live up to aroma. Thin for style.

Canned 4/9/26, drunk 5/20/26.
Delightful amount of fresh mango juice with rich papaya and an undercurrent of piney blueberry. Definitely smells fruited, which is impressive (since it's not). Hop intensity/juiciness seems bolstered by the obvious medium malt additions (the thing is almost caramel colored) instead of overshadowed. No resin, alcohol, weird yeast character.
Fluffy and creamy, indeed, with a big malt depth but excellent attenuation and bitterness (well above average for TH) to balance. More pine than the nose lets on, with less rich tropical fruit, but it's still there. A very interesting beer. Was expecting all juice and succulent/sweet malt, but it's very far from that. Basically the best of both worlds of a WC/NE hybrid. Would love to see the series continue and sad I missed the first one.

Pours a hazy, thick caramel-butterscotch color, with mid-sized head. Aroma is juicy citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors follow, with some underlying sweetness and some astringency. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

355ml bottle [at 11.3% abv]. Cloudy, dark red to auburn colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dark yellow-ish, tan head. Rather cautious, sweet-ish, minimally toasty, caramel malty, yeasty fruity and slightly spicy aroma, hints of dried fruit, raisin, a touch of brown sugar, clove, whiffs of wood and burnt sugar. Taste is sugary sweet-ish, caramel malty, yeasty fruity and spicy, slightly alcoholic, hints of caramel, brown sugar, rock sugar, dried fruit, raisin, a touch of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, aniseed; warming, alcoholic finish.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery textue, smooth and soft, minimally cloying, also minimally pungent palate, medium to fine, very dense, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Relatively cautious, or not overly intense, quite sugary sweet, well dosed spiciness - not that impressive.
