Pours a moderately hazy, pale lemon yellow, with rather smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, with some pine and hops. Flavors follow, along with hop resin. Mouthfeel seems about right for the style. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish. I'm liking it.

Panda thanks to the Wingmane, 05/02/2026.
Pitch black topped with a khaki cap that thins to spotting.
Nose is chocolate, vanilla, light charr, mellow roast, vinous hint, dried fruit esters, nip of bourbon.
Taste comprises dark chocolate, spice, roasted bite, bourbon kiss, vanilla, caramel, toasted brown sugars, charr, molasses.
Full bodied, light oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol.
Solid BA impy ... good bitter edge about it ... well balanced ... not like some of the sweet sugary shit that some brewers kick out.

Bottle from Tewksbury. Deeply hazy reddish-brown, thin cap of head quickly fading to a ring. Nice viscosity, light lacing. Aroma is strong initial blast of caramel, then light molasses, brown sugar, hint of cardamom, fig and dark fruits. Taste is strong caramel, biscuit/bread as advertised, with slight tart fruit, late pine. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and crisp, caramel/pine finish with lingering bitterness. Aroma is heavenly and super complex--bests taste. Not transcendent but enjoyable.

Can (11/11/25) from Tewksbury. Opaque orange juice, a few dark floaties, tons of sparkle, thin head with excellent retention, nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong grapefruit, tangerine and melon. Taste is indistinct citrus, melon, apricot, mild alcohol, bitter water cracker. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation, dry, crisp finish as taste. Look and aroma are good, taste a bit muddled. Nothing bad here but, for TH, subpar.
