Dark ruby color, decent creamy brownish head, some lace. Burned malts and skunky hoppyness in the aroma. Lightly roasted malty/dark malt flavors, notes of woody hops. Short aftertaste. Quite watery and light palate. Harmless and boring schwarzbier.

Aroma has some cooked broccoli attributes, slightly astringent. Bouquet opens up and clears once poured. Good looking ubiquitous pale yellow lager appearance with a nice continuous upside-down waterfall of waving bubbles. This is quite hypnotizing for a pale yellow beer. Quite strong metallic malty impact. Good bitter personality. I don’t remember it being so bitter last time I had it. Biting back of throat odd hop bite builds. Back of palate finish is refined industrial medicine bitter characters that hang for a while. Will not buy again. Expected this to have more manners after drinken the dark.

Sold in a green bottle, but was not the least bit skunky. The aroma was of lightly roasted malts, hops, and was a little beefy. Tea coliored pour with a thin off white head. Relatively weak flavor with some hops and roasted grains detectable. Uncooked pasta finish ringed with some lower quality hops, very subdued though.

Its not terrible, maybe just a little skunky. Maybe. It did pull from the back of shelf, but that green bottle can be trouble. Well carbonated. Lots of rising bubbles form a thick, lacing white head on top of the golden beer. Aroma is light hops and malt. Flavor is lightly bitter, grass, maybe a little corn, and a bitter bite at the finish, and dry aftertaste.

Bottle: Nice brown pour with a smaller beige head. Smells a little malty, bready, and sweet. Tastes of roasted malt, bread, and some bitters. Crisp finish and lingering bitters. Thanks BuckeyeBoy.
