„Myšlenkou mít malý pivovar s vlastním pivem jsem se začal zabývat již v roce 1983, tedy v době, kdy nebylo možné vlastnit výrobní prostředky. Cenná odborná praxe a hezké chvíle prožité v litovelském pivovaru, k tomu samozřejmě sládek Miroslav Koutek a poetické filmové zpracování Hrabalových Postřižin, bylo tím správným nasměrováním mého srdce. Po několika domácích várkách jsem pochopil, že chci mít malý, ale opravdový profesionální pivovar, kde vše funguje jako v tom velkém. A tak jsem si po mnoha letech svůj sen vyplnil.“

Tap at BeerGeek. There is moderate diacetyl initially, but it kinda fits well in this beer. As it warms a bit, there comes light oxidation, but more hops character also. Medium body, medium carbonation. Moderate caramelly toasted maltiness, light grassy herbal hops. Med-light sweetness, medium bitterness. A good 10 plato polotmavy, does not feel watery, feels very sessionable.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Clear, crystal clear amber body, off-white head. Caramel and lightly flowery aroma, smoooth. Light taste, bready with some caramel and light hoppy undertones. By the book amber lager, can't even call it a CZ polotmavé, clean, drinkable, a bit tasty, no issues with it apart from the inherent boredom of the generic amber lagers.

0.75l from Galerie Piva. Well now this is a rare sight - a Rubín-Kazbek combo. Cringed while paying 100 for 0.75l, but what can you do, was interested enough. Lightly hazy golden body, white head. Sweetish, subdued aroma, vaguely flowery and herbal. The taste is a bit unexpected, not necessarily what I usually associate with Kazbek - something created a white grape note backed by clean maltiness. Enjoyable, my colleagues liked it I reckon.
