Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice roasted malt and cacao nib chocolate. Flavor is a silky smooth chocolate with equal parts sweet and bitter. This is so chocolaty it reminds me of pouring Hershey chocolate syrup right in your mouth. This leaves a nice chocolate on the tongue well after the swallow. Kind of a one trick pony with the chocolate but it is done so well you can look past that and enjoy this for what it is.

12 ounce can from Total Wine Manassas, 8/2/16. Clear golden, large foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of grassy hops, doughy malts, biscuits. The taste is bready malt, honey, floral hops. Medium bodied, well balanced, could be crisper.

S: Orange and tangerine citrus with a pronounced spruce-y cascade note and faint caramel.
T: Bitter, piney and tart with pithy lemon lime. Malts are toasty but not sweet.
M: Light and softly carbonated with a puckering, lightly resinous finish.
O: A happy return of a very nice pale ale.

Pour is a clear orange with a large white head. Aroma is fruity almost peppery hop. Flavor is a fruity melon hop with a mild alcohol heat. Decent hop profile with a bit of alcohol heat.

Can: Tang nose, somewhat resembles orange flavored vitamins I had when I was a kid. Clear amber, medium head. Unusually savory and bready orange flavor, accented by rye and basil. Medium body, easy carbonation. More herbal than fruity.
