Dorada clara, turbia, fea. Menos espuma de lo habitual para el estilo. Desaparece muy pronto. Aroma asidrado, poco agradable. Igual que el sabor, de tono aguado y avinagrado. Floja tripel.

Notes from early 90s. Bottle from the original Crombé Brewery. Light brown color. Aroma: malty sweet/caramel, fruit. Flavor: light sour, slightly old, on the edge. Light bodied. Moderate bitter finish. I had the impression this was a light version of Oud Zottergems.

Notes from early 90s. Bottle from the original Crombé Brewery. Dark blonde color. White head. Aroma’s: sweet malts/candy sugar, some fruitiness, light grain. Flavor: moderate sweet. Rather strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Finish: long, leading to a moderate bitter finish. Pretty refined.

Notes from early 90s. Bottle from 1991, at 8%. Pours an orange to amber color. Aroma’s: caramel malts (not really sweet though), light bitterness. Flavor: hard to describe, neutral, but still flavorful if that makes any sense. Malty I guess, without the sweetness. Medium bodied. Rather strong alcohol feel. Finishes with a firm bitterness.
