Cask On, 3/30/24. Dark mahogany. Small/no head. Seems clear. Roast. Coffee bean. Hmmm...not much going on here.. Sour almost. Rummy floral tannin. Pitiful texture, no malt depth. Charred water. Overly roasted and tannic. Did they forget the malt??!

Back on track after yesterday hiccup. Light cloudy yellow and smallish soapy head. Nose is peppery and floral. Tastes of florals, cloves, pepper, lemon, Asian pear. Lighter bodied and some bitters

Excited for the style tick. Lovely dark black pour. Nose is sickly peanut oil. Tastes of some chocolates and oats but mostly that peanut oil. Some burnt sugar feeling well. Not my thing

Sample at the NH Brewfest in Portsmouth 10/14/23. Pours a dark brown bordering on black with a decent sized tan head that persists. Rich bready caramel chocolate and roast with earthy spicy hops to counter.

Sample at the NH Brewfest in Portsmouth 10/14/23. Slightly opaque bright red color with a surprising large frothy white head that persists. Plenty of cherry against some light lemony tart and cereal graininess. pretty nice.
