Poured from nitro tap. Black with full beige head. Very coffee forward, creamy, like a better version of ugly sweater.

Poured from the tap. Clear-ish pale blonde with small white head. Light cracker malt, feint grass hops and a hint of lemon zest. Meh, at least itβs inoffensive.

Poured from the tap. Hazy gold with small white head. Seems to be their update on seedspitter. Watermelon, a bit of wheat quality, perhaps a feint hint of coriander in the background. Nothing wrong with it. Maybe it would have been better as a summer release, but whatever.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with small white head. Hint of lemon, some light esters, fairly clean, super boring.

A few sips stolen from the wife's glass at Cactus Club Station Square. Appearance: cloudy blonde with a white head. Aroma: some dankness and tropical fruits. Taste: along the same lines, somewhat watery. Finishes with a light hoppy bitterness. Overall: nothing special, ok for a 4.5% beer.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark brown colour when looked at an angle, but close to black overall, with small beige head. There seem to be some ale esters, it's less roasty and bitter than a German Schwarzbier, and it's a bit more earthy, so, in a blind tasting, I would have guessed Stout rather than Schwarzbier. Pleasant.

Blond colour, some gold too, cloudy, with medium sized compact head. This is a yeast bomb, it has loads of clove and some banana; it's moderately sweet, which I appreciate in a Hefeweizen, strong wheat character too, and the bitterness, although low, is not completely absent.
Pleasant.

Blond colour, hazy. Very mild aroma, crackers and grass. It's dry, crispy, with some crackery malts; the bitterness is a bit too low, and there is hardly any noble hop character.
It's clean, simple, pleasant.

Blond colour, ok, maybe just a bit darker than a pale lager, it's quite clean. Light aroma, a bit stronger flavour; bready malts, with minimal residual sweetness, so getting a bit away from pale lager territory, but the malt is quite anonymous, and the hop also doesn't add much (well, it's expected in a Festbier), but the bitterness is not too shy.
Decent.

Poured from the tap. Murky yellow with small white head. Feint herbal wood quality with quite mild tropical and berry hops, a little yeasty. Okay.
