A classical and ordinary pils, a bit herbal, smooth, some malt, the hop is not enough aromatic, watery and a bit boring, 21.01.20, at Epalinges, buying it at one Fristo Getränkmarkt, Freiburg

Bittle at Kessel in Offenburg. Clear golden with white head. Crisp pils malts, soft grassy hops, a touch of lemon zest and spruce, unripe apple. Medium sweet and bitter. Crisp medium bodied. Not bad.

3/VIII/25 - 33cl flip-top bottle from a local supermarket, shared @ Schwarzwald holiday, BB: 3/I/26 16:11 (2025-735)
A little cloudy bright yellow beer, big aery irregular white head, unstable, falls down immediately, just a little adhesive. Aroma: oh my, lots and lots of lemonade aroma’s, super juicy, zesty, freshly squeezed lemons, nothing else. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots and lots of lemon, zesty, sweet and sugary, lemonade, gentle bitterness, a bit metallic. Aftertaste: sweet, sugary, soft acidity, lemonade, fruity, all lemon, too sweet for me, but it is what it is. Sometimes I feel I like alcohol-free radlers better, as they are often less sweet and sugary?

Paired with Winzerkäse from Edeka supermarket, nice pairing!
Little cloudy dark brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, a bit irregular, pretty stable, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, pretty malty, grains, a good roast, somewhat nutty, toast, some alcohol, cocoa powder, caramel notes, nice! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good roast up front, some alcohol, pretty bitter, clean malt bill, a bit yeasty, a hint of banana, pleasant stout! Aftertaste: good roast, caramel malts, a bit of acidity, bitter and dry finish, slightly metallic, decent old school UK style stout, I like it!

Clear gold blond beer, huge creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty fruity, some tropical fruits, juicy, citrus notes, a little chemical, leathery. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Aftertaste: bitter touch, mainly citrus notes, fruity, grapefruit, zesty, a bit resinous, clean dry finish, very pleasant APA, which is what I would categorize this as.
