Golden colour with lasting fluffy head. Fairly watery but there's a floral bitterness to it. Quite a yeasty finish.

Mega gusher but luckily I was prepared! Black with massive foaming head. Aroma of dark malts. Intense flavour of dark roasted malts, almost burnt. Some coffee notes too.

04-11-2023 : 6 months old - so regarded as Young Lambic - Served as Angerik Lambiek @ dag Van De Geuze 2023. Pours unclear, bright yellow. Scent is very funky, rotting plants, earthy even. Taste is full, overripe citrus, green, some DMS like features ( in a lambic? how? ) not bad, but certainly not amazing. malty finish. Rather young, still. 7/10
Rerate November 2024 , this time a 1 y old lambic.
Pours cloudy blonde, scent is very funky, overripe fruit. Still yound I supose. Taste is full, tart, very herbal / overripe. Buttery MF. Feels ans tastes very young. Still quite a bit of residual sweetness. Easy drinker, mild touch of co2. Not bad, but after trying this twice (unknowingly) both of the times I had this 'overripe' (DMS) type of flavor, as well as it seemingly being to young (even for a young lambic, yes) .

Clear copper colour with lasting head. Loads of malty, smokey whisky (Laphroaig) in aroma. Also in the flavour but milder. Then the sharpness comes through. Aftertaste woody, smokey and slightly bitter.

Direct from the barrel. Around 6 months old. Dark yellow colour with light haze and no carbonation. Aroma is quite minerally. Some wood too. Nicely dry, also a woody bitterness.
Hapu, õunane, tsitrus, kuiv, funky, nats sõnnikut. Ok.

9 April 2023. At In de Verzekering Tegen de Grote Dorst. Shared with the lovely Anke!
4 months old.
A: hazy golden, no head.
A: cannabis, wet grass, dust, old plum, wort, green apple.
T: sweet plum, grass, residual sugar, cannabis, wort.
F: old floral hops, old stone fruit, grass, cannabis.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
This felt like the 'youngest' beer I've ever had; damn, so raw and unfinished. Almost got high from drinking it, so to speak.

375mL bottle at Grote Dorst, pours a cloudy pale golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is massively peated, with intense peated smoke, subdued earthiness, and a hint of old leather. Flavour is heavily peated and tart, with plenty of smoke from the Islay, old earthy leather, and some old furniture. Could have more complexity, but the Islay character elevates this nicely. Good stuff.

Poured from 330mL bottle (tht: 19/10/2027). Hazy light amber gold with small white head. Tons of islay peat, background funk, enjoy the whiskey barrel, but it doesn’t necessarily blend as well with the lambic flavour. Decent. Edit: soften and is quite nice as it warms a little bit.

375ml shared with Ryan, Phill, and Nick. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: insane peat, some fruity notes. Taste: more balanced, funky with some peat. Overall: good.
