Cloudy yellow color. Aroma has wheat and yeast. Flavor is less sweet than most of the style, and there is an herbal quality, presumably from the gruut. Mild and refreshing, but it still has flavor. An enjoyable beer.

The commercial description is accurate for this beer. The bottle has the monastic symbol, so even though it is palm, it appears to at least be associated with a monastery. Malt and Belgian yeast, making this lightly sweet, with the gruut adding a mild herbal quality. It is easy to hate these beers when a big brewery is associated, but regardless of who makes it, this is a good product.

Bottle 33cl. (Brabante Gran Triple). Dark amber hazy beer with abundant off-white head. Sweet malty aroma, also fruits, peach are present. The taste is medium sweet, caramel, with a soft carbonation and medium body. Not very hopped and suitable alcoholic final.

Bottle looks simple. Beer in the glass modest cloudy, huge head. Starts strong, modest sourish. Gets more and more fruity-moldy, a bit earthy. Finish too unbalanced. Not my favourite.

Bottle @ home. Hazy pale yellow color, white head. Smell yeast and some spices or herbs, but this time -cause I generally don’t like spices and herbs- in a good way. Average decent taste. Soft carbo, low body.

Nice dark brown colored beer. Don’t really like the smell, it’s not off-putting but not really appealing either. Bit low body but a decent taste.

Pours dark golden colr with white head. Fruity and doughy arom with some spices. Similar flavors but not all that good. Medium body with lively carbonation. Disappointing.
