Has a green hue. Sharp lime juice aroma. Flavour is sweet and sour lime with a hint of coconut. Sweet and far too sharp.

275ml bottle - sickly sweet aroma, flat golden appearance, looks unappealing. Overwhelming sweet lime taste, lingers too long, very sticky. Not nice but at 39p a bottle it was worth the experiment not to do this again.

Unlagerlike with a thin texture, and very sweet as to expected with a mild tequila taste.

Cola-colored, light cola flavors mixed with lime and rum flavor, with fruity tartness at the end.

It’s beer lime with a bit of mint and some weird sweetness. Alcoholic water with lime and mint. Awesome.

Golden color. Normal lemon taste. Medium/high carbonation. Medium head. Too sweet and too much tequilla for me. Not my style.

Nov 2009: Yet another strange lager style beer being imported into the UK, this one is supposed to be Mexican, but is brewed in Germany by Krombacher, incredible when you consider it all really. Anyway, the clear 275cl bottle was poured into a Veltins stemmed tulip glass. Exceedingly pale gold in colour, the white head soon fell away to a thin covering and collar. Grass, wheat and corned beef aromas hit my nose, not a nice combination. Tasteless to be honest, this beer is the base for flavoured, trendy, kids beers (Tequila, white rum, etc). I can see why the want to add some flavours. Weak and watery, no hint of the 4.7%ABV it claims to have within. Why do I buy these things? So I can review them on BA and RB of course, plus one day I might find the perfect beer, not likely to be a lager/pilsner, but my quest goes on.

Green yellow colour, greenish white head. Aroma of mint, lemon soft drink and sugar. Quite artificial. Flavour rather sweet, mint and some sick. Finish: mint, somewhat reminding of mojito. Lasting cane sugar. Not a too brilliant combination imho.

Aug 2011: Clear 330ml bottle poured into a ’Good People’ glass. This very pale greeny yellow beer was obtained for me in Belgium by my son-in-law (he always tries to find a beer I’ve never had before when he travels). Looks like ’Mountain Dew’ and it smells like a lime infused cocktail. This is not the sort of thing I’d normally drink and I’ll not be having another, ever. Sweet, with a lime, citrusy sickly flavour, not for me at all: a nightclub drink for tossers.
