Poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is somewhat sweet and lightly skunky. Taste is slightly sweet. Loads of cereal and grains. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and not much of a finish. Meh...new country tick if nothing else.

Bouteille 355ml.

Clear golden colour, diminishing white head. Aroma of cardboard and adjunct, with some yeasted rice. Sweet malty flavour, light boiled rice sweetness, only the slightest hint of bitterness. Sweet finish.
I don’t like the smell, but otherwise this is quite OK for a tropical lager. Quite refreshing. Reminds me of summers in France, guess the French lagers have been an influence. I’m not a big fan of lagers normally, but today I really was looking forward to drinking one again for a change, and this was one of the few in my fridge. From the smell I was afraid it would be a dud, but I’ve been positively surprised.
(From 355mL bottle @ home. Bought in a local toko, Nijmegen)
