Can at HogTownHarry Fest 08. OK lager. Bit thin and horrible to be honest. But you know what? It’s a lager. 2/5. Bottle from a colleague at work. Clear gold lasting white head. Floral lemony aroma. Decent pilsner Czech style. Definite malty flavour. Some hop which could be more bitter and lemony on the finish, but it’s perfectly fine. Some sweetness from ABV rather than the clean 4% svetly. Fullness in the mouth. A malty Czech pilsner. It’s muted but totally fine.

Deep yellow colour and large bubbled white perishable head. Aroma is almost unpleasant. Weak malty and biting hops. Aftertaste is little better and exist longer but it is not save this beer.

500 ml green bottle, as "Golden Pheasant Premium", bought in Riga, Latvia. ABV is 5% - or that’s what the rear label reads. There is also a small white sticker in Latvian on the bottle-neck, reading a.o.: "Alkohola saturs 4%". Is the latter alchohol by weight? - or is one of the labels wrong? Anyway, the beer pours with a golden colour and a large white head. The aroma is very Heineken-like, but somewhat better: Fresh aromatic hops with flowery and fruity notes (most BMC drinkers would probably call it "skunky"). Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has moderate but acceptable hops on a background of mellow and sweet pilsener malts. There’s a hint of honey. I’ve had worse pilseners than this one.

Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a pale golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was lightly sweet and peppery. The flavor was lightly sweet, corny and had a hint of pepper. The finish was tangy and corny.

bottle, bought in Prague. Golden yellow, medium-sized head. Hoppy nose. Well-balanced malty and hoppy lager, hints of grain. Malt dominates the flavour. Not spectacular, but quite nice.

bottle, sent to me by a fried from Thuringia. Pale yellow, medium-sized, quickly collapsing head. Malty nose with hints of grain. Malty and grainy flavour, only slightly hoppy. A bit thin and watery, but all right for 10°.
