Bottle, just called Amber Lager. bb 9/24. Clear amber, 2cm white head lsats OK. Gentle biscuity aroma with some floral and light fruity notes. Much less malt presence than promised by the aroma but it's clean and dryish. Low bitterness. After the Black Japanese Lager, this was disappointingly timid.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a good cm of beige head. 3+ Toasty aroma with mocha and some floral notes. Dryish, clean, that transparent lager palate that makes the modest spicy bitterness pop. A subtle and polished brew.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. At Merthyr bowls club. Pours a clear golden amber with a foamy white head. High fine carbonation. Nose is boiled rice, a little sweet. Nice lacing. Beer is sweet with a grainy finish. Medium body. Probably not dry enough for a 'Japanese' style beer. Good easy to drink quencher.
