On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light peaches, some citrus skins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is fresh, with citrus hops and peach notes upfront, with a dry biscuity malt backbone. Vibrant and refreshing. Very pleasant.

Draft at the Tasting Room, add on during RBWG 2018. Hazy pale yellow color. Aroma of....guess what? You're right: pineapple! But not overwhelming. Taste is bitter pineapple. Tasty.

On-tap in the Pizza Port (Ocean Beach) brewpub; 17th Jan 2018. Monkey Paw seem to have dropped the hop name and upped the ABV of this 'Lab Monkey'. Anyway it poured a misty/cloudy orange amber colour, the head a wispy, thin affair. Good hop balance, semi-bitter and showing resin, piney and citrusy notes in both the aroma and taste, malts keep the brew stable and add some much needed sweetness, flavour wise.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub (Aug.2017) where it is a near clear gold body that supports a lasting white head of foam that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The aroma offers up a blend of tangelo, mango and tangy warm cantaloupe. The taste delivers smooth soft yet thick sweet juicy mango and cantaloupe. Oh yeah. Initially behind juiciness are bitter grapefruit citrus hop notes creating a nice balance with the smooth soft juiciness. Toward the finish the citrus hop bitterness fades leaving firm booze boosted juicy notes to run amuck. Into the finish a nice wafer thin cracker like maltiness comes to the surface really pulling this together into a pleasing finish. Solid IIPA.

Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Hazy golden color. The oatmeal adds some character, but it's a bit earthy; the hopping is bold and moderately resiny with moderate citru peel final.
Nice.
