Twickenham Fine Ales
Microbrewery
in Twickenham,
Greater London,
England 🏴
Associated Venue: Twickenham Fine Ales Brewery Shop and Bar
Established in 2004
The early days of experimentation and trial settled down with the arrival of Tom Madeiros, as Brewer, in 2005. Being American the use of American hops seemed a natural path and Twickenham became an early adopter of the now popular and more common place hops used in many beers today.
The variety of hops grew and Twickenham now uses hops from countries including: England, Germany, Slovenia, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

(Cask) Very dark brown with good sense off white head. Subtle pleasant aroma. Smooth, medium body with soft smooth carbonation. Great taste with a lovely balance of sweetness and bitterness. Reminds me of dark chocolate in some ways. There’s a toffee start with hints of chocolate and a nice dark toffee / burnt sugar bitterness develops. Don’t detect the honey. Very enjoyable.
