Pours hazy yellow/golden with a lasting, foamy, white head. The aroma contains fruits (orange), hops, spices and yeast. It tastes medium fruity sweet and light hoppy bitter with a yeasty, bit dry finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Totally inoffensive but good in its own way.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy, orange Amber color. Bubbly tan head. Eccentric earthy malt aroma. Tangy lemony malt flavor with yeasty overtones. Tart fruity midtaste. Bopiting sour dry hop finish. Ther is a sour apple flavor that underlies the entire flavor scheme. It’s subtle but it’s there. Great lacing.

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 21 May 2017) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, marzipan, candy sugar and grass. Malty, fruity taste with peaches, bread, grass, sugar and a balanced spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made golden ale, leaning in the Duvel direction. Nice one.

Bottle. Opaque deep brown to black. Big ivory coloured airy head. Stays as a nice layer on beer surface. Estery nose. Caramel, toasted malts along. Medium body. Lively carbonation. The flavour, again, offers dark malts and typical Belagian fruity esters. Well-hidden alcohol. Loads of dried fruit on ending. Low biterness. This is a fairly solid Belgian ale that just does not make you be that emotional drinking it. Calm enjoyment.

Bottle. Cloudy amber. Small head. Aroma: nice esters on nose. Caramel. Medium body. The flavour is a celebration of esters including notes of prune, apple and pear. Delicious. Moderately boozy. Balancing bitterness. That’s fine. Very fine.

Murky honey colour. Moderate white head. Strong harsh, almost wild phenols on nose. Additional orange and spice. Light body. Sourish taste. Fruity, phenolic, spicy. Something is wrong with this beer.

Honey yellow with abbundant rocky white head that stays for ages. The aroma is corny malts, spicy yeast and spicy hops. Medium body. Sweet malts form the base of the flavour. Spicy yeast go along. Light bitterness finishes the story.
