Cask @ New Oxford, Salford. Blonde hoppy ale with a small head. Fruity in its lingering aftertaste, there’s a fair amount to be found in its aroma too. Easy-drinking and sessionable.

Clear yellowish beer, decent white head. Light citrus aroma, dry bitter taste. Could go being a touch more distinctive but very sessionable.

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - deep amber into chestnut. Nose - gentle pine and red fruits. . Taste - more red fruits then a liquorice or tobacco note on the finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy yet crunchy texture and a dry finish. It’s a bit challenging but the challenge is enjoyable. Overall - quite complex. Not expecting so many things going on in the style.

Cask at the Prince of Wales, Foxfield. Bright yellow, clear, with a biggish Northern head. Aroma is malty, buttery, slightly vegetal. Taste has a somewhat substantive bitter quality, yet this doesn’t come across as heavily hopped. This is OK, but I really wanted more from it.
