Draft pour pint at Hop House, Redmond. Presented on nitro. A soda carb, dark amber pour. Nitro typical cream cap head. A ton of peanut butter character. More so than the hazelnut, which I usually don't care for. The creamy nitro here, and peanut seemed to mask it all perfectly. Overall a good dessert like beer here. Good stuff.

Bottle from Safeway. Medium golden with fluffy white head. Aroma of wet paper and school paste, cooked vegetables. Taste is a bit grainy, some yeasty notes, but they don't seem to fit. Misses on most marks.

Tap. Pours whitish yellow with some nice foam on top. Aroma is really interesting, somewhat raw, grassy, tropical vegetables. Taste is actually putting this nose into a different sensation. Maybe this raw grassy thing is best described by cactus character, aloe or agave. I guess that’s from Azacca hops, would definitely like to try some more examples, this one is quite good.

26 oz bottle. Clear dark brown pour with a beige head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Dark molasses and caramel flavor with a light booze finish. 6.0 ABV not well hidden. Disappointing. More like a heavy amber ale than a brown ale.

22 oz bottle poured. First beer of the 5 day weekend. Solid start. Slightly cloudy, pale golden pour with a ton of lasting foam head. Tropical fruit and soft straw aroma. Flavor is creamy up front, a bit of a gritty grain bill. Finishes more on the sweet side. Tropical juicy fruit constant, but not too thick. Pleasant flavor, and quite an enjoyable IPA here.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a soft golden color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head, sly lacing.
The aroma had some sweet grapefruit, and then some caramel malt and herbal qualities. Light grassiness.
The flavor yielded to the malts and then some hop character makes a decent effort to balance. Crisp resin comes in a sly bitter fashion underneath. Some grapefruit to caramel malt aftertaste flows into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Decent carbonation. ABV felt fine as projected.
Overall, decent AIPA, maybe again if I saw it.

Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a clear light amber color, thin white cap of a head. Sly lace.
The aroma had some light grassy hop elements. Light lingering toast/biscuits. Sweet butter (not diacetyl).
The flavor leaned towards the malty side but with that British bitter edge to it. Sly biscuit malt aftertaste and finish.

Overall, decent to me, and seemingly decent as an ESB.
