thx. to Rian // Thirstybird // 50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG 2012 // finally a Berliner Weisse // clear yellow apple juice with a small white head // nose is full of apples, lightly sour, some hay // taste is light sour apples, quite a bit cider-like, mellow, touch farm like, some jonagold, light sour tang, minor lemon juice, touch wheat // light, very easy to drink, easy carb, // apparently the only remaining example of a light berliner weisse // it is weirdly close to cider

Bottle sample @ 2nd RBBSG, August 11th 2012. Courtesy of Thirstybird.

11/VIII/2012 - 50cl bottle @ RBBSG - BB: n/a - (2012-878) Thanks to Thirstybird for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale yellow beer, small aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of apples, little sour, little sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of apples again, bit sourish, somewhat sugary. Aftertaste: more apples. Very weird beer... Not as disgusting as the Kindl anyway, but not my favourite beer either. Of course, maybe it's not fair to judge between all the other top beers we had.
