Green pale golden, no head. Sugary nose, a bit like ethiopian honey wine funnily enough, just lighter. Very light bitterness.

Blond color, a lot of foam. Ordinary Lager, on the sweet side. Probably suitable only in the African weather, but not too bad.

Bottle, 65cl at pre-RBNAG 07. Clear, pale golden beer with a minimal white head. Some fruityness in the aroma, slightly papery and with a very weak rubbery touch. Weak, fruity and slightly papery flavor, almost without finish. Thin and watery of course. Surely forgettable. Fun fact: Cote d’Ivoire is called Elfenbenskysten in Norwegian. (071102)

650ml bottle @ RBNAG’07. Pale golden body with almost no head at all. Aroma is weak malty/grassy. Flavor is sweet and harsh with some kind of chemical taste. It’s thin, it’s boring but fun to have tasted a beer from a country you didn’t know exist.

Sampled 65 cl bottle, RBNAG 2007 in Grimstad. ABV is 5.2%. Pale golden colour. Industrial sickly aroma. Bland and utterly boring flavour.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of omhper. Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Very subdued aromas - perhaps some rice? Thin-bodied with vaguely sweet notes of malt and brewing cereal. High on CO2 but low on hops. But a fairly straight and drinkable Pale Lager. 110507

A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong cardboard notes along with lighter notes of honey. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of cardboard and akaciatree honey, and a light flowery hop note. Surprisingly good. Thanks Per.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Yellow colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma is malts, hops and some maize. Flavour is malty, hoppy and salty. Slight sweetness also, like maizeish hints mixed with something else. The Togoan version was more watery, as I had a sip of it on the side of this one.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Golden colour, airy head. Grainy aroma with boiled vegetables. Sweetish, bland and industrial with light body and mellow mouthfeel. Low bitterness.
