330ml bottle. Hazy dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, off-white head. Minimally spicy yeasty aroma, hints of honey, a fruity touch of plum, a caper note, dark wheat malt. Taste is tart to sourish, minimally spicy, dark wheat malty, hints of french dressing; lively carbonation. Exprimental in such a degree - I wouldn’t dare to go public with this.

330ml bottle bought at Sourced Market, St Pancras. Hugh, creamy near-white head. Hazy brownish body. Aroma of dark caramel malts with underlying yeast. Sour apples in flavour, too much yeast and a little wheat. The ending is sour lemon. Could not detect the honey part. Out of tune and rather disjointed (shared with Richard, Stefan and the slop sink, University of Leeds 01.07.2013).

Bottle from sourced market. I probably paid above the odds for this tick. Hazy bright orange colour with persistent fine head. Aroma is cif lemon, spicy frizzy sweets. Some solvent in the nose as well. Flavour is disappointing, harsh grapefruit the really sticks in the back of the throat. Burnt rubber, grassy, some higher alcohols. Not an easy drinking beer.

Bottled (from AbM). Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized fluffy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is bready and caramel malts, with a slight toasted tone to it. Apart from that there’s some nutty notes as well as quite pleasant floral and grassy notes. Flavour is sweet malts, with quite nice floral and grassy bitterness. Mild rubbery notes, but those are not all too evident.

330ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with average, firm, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly sourish aroma, cautious caramel malty background. Taste is fruity, hints of peach, dry, minimally soapy overtones, dry, minimally spicy and peppery finish. A bit weird.

Bottle from Oddbins, London Bridge, London. A hazy amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweet, malty, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes slightly sweet, malty, hoppy, tropical fruit, grapefruit and there is this rather strange plastic background note to it. Slightly unbalanced but there is something quite likeable about it too. The plastic thing goes on long after the beer is finished. I’d like to revisit this one because it is almost very good.

Bottled. Amber colour with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is mild fruits, rotten vegetables, some sour wood and berries. Flavour is rotten vegetables, blood (very metallic), some meaty notes, cardboard and mild hay. So bad it’s not even funny. And what’s worse, it can’t have been very good in the stage of bottling, so the brewers have failed badly at their quality control.
