Bottle at Borefts ’13, I picked this up from the airside duty free shop at SEATAC, 28/09/13. Lightly hazed amber with a thin off white head. Nose is bready, dark fruit, yeasty notes, light spice. Taste comprises toffee, dark fruits, dates, prunes, sugar, light yeast esters. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, sweet finale. So so affair, drinkable but not one I’d return to.

Thx! for the share. 650 ml. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2013. Dark amber with a beige head. Nose is sweet caramel, black bread, rye, malt, light dried fruits,… Taste is bitter caramel malts, rye, bitter herbs, sweet bozzy, roasted dark bread, syrupy dark fruits, touch booze, warming. Sitcky, low carb. Pretty nice stuff.

Draft - Rating was lost but in total just not that great. Weird skunk ones and very herbal. Either I don’t like the style or nobody can brewing.

An average tripel, lacking the smooth, velvety texture and fluffy head of the Belgian varieties. Lagerish hop character, slightly hazy gold color. Hop bite detracts from should be some smooth, spiciness.

Bottle. Mahogony-brown beer with a dark cream head. Juniper and malt aroma. Juniper and malt flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Juniper and light caramel lingers. Would score higher if I liked juniper in my beer.

Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. This brew pours a clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, malt and subtle bananas. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
