Many thanks for this beer to Dariusz Sokol. Piwo swietne, rozgrzewajace, idealnie pasuje na wieczor do chlodnego i deszczowego dnia. Owsiane mega, orkiszowe pieczywo posmarowane kremem czekoladowym, posypane kakaem i popite czarna kawa. Piwo jest mega kremowe z poczatku slodkawe potem wanilia, rozgrzanie alkoholowe i pozostajaca silna i trwala goryczka. Super. Piana ciemna spora ale srednio trwala, czarne geste. Polecam

Thuis uit een flesje. Leuke etiketten hebben ze bij Oproer, doet aan Hergé denken. Mooi donkerbruin bier, beige schuim, ziet er goed uit. Uitstekende volle smaak, hop. Nodigt uit om meer van deze brouwer te gaan drinken (en wie houdt me tegen...).

Tap at Oproer. Hazy golden, pale amber with white head. Sweet malts, tropical fruit, mango, hop pellet bambix muff. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice almost normal IPA.

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy dark orange golden with almost white head. Soft tropical fruits, dank weedy and fruity hops, grassy hops, soft malts with a touch of caramel, bitter fresh German hops. Medium sweet and solid medium bitter. Medium bodied. Like a hazy classic IPA? Not bad.

Thuis uit een flesje in de tuin, mijn eerste Oproer. Licht troebel, oranje/amberkleur, wit schuim. Ziet er goed uit. Lichte hop in de geur. Smaak: zacht, licht bitter, maar ook vol. Prima.

Pitch black colour. Brown head that doesn't last very long, leaving a 1 bubble layer. Aroma's from the glass aren't very strong, somewhat boozy, roasty, light vegetal and light umami. Retronasal it's quite different, there's oatmeal indeed, hard roasted malts, dark chocolate, bitterness, some booze, although not really recognizable as bourbon and/or whiskey. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a lot of dark chocolate and roasty bitterness. Body feels a bit thin on the palate for the style and strength. Long finish, roasted and bitter. A worthy attempt.

On tap at Gist. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of wood, vanilla, Sorachi Ace (?), yeast, hint of booze, light lemony. Flavour starts a bit off, light sourness, yeasty, then the barrel comes into play, nice woody and soft rum flavour, vanilla, SA hop, bitter finish. Light bodied. Tasty, but not faultless.
