Bottle shared on Level 42, 13/02/2018. Many thanks! A reddy mahogant brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. ARoma is nice soapy cedar, sandalwood, lemon. Flavour is composed of toasted malts, strawberry, nutty malts, hazelnut, vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, woody vanilla, pine resin, . . Little rubber and pine. Lovely.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to LKS, 13/02/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a well presented beige covering. Nose is charr, pine needle, toffee, dark berry fruits, brown bread. Taste comprises mellow roast, pine, earthy tropicana, spice, dried fruits, fruit loaf. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with dusty hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 20-11-19. Slight hazy dark copper color, medium frothy head. Aroma is less herbal than the regular version, but adds cookie and vanilla. Soft vanilla and cookie sweetness. Not too heavy on the barrel aging, and IMO perfect example of how to proper barrel age. Great balance.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 19-12-19. Slight hazy dark copper color, medium frothy head. Aroma of toffee and ice tea, slight blackcurrant and licorice. Weird herbal taste, toffee sweetness. Bit strange brew, but tasty.

Draught at Arendsnest. Black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee malt and oat. Flavour is dry roast malt, oat and a warm booze base.

Bottle shared at Gekke Geit. Hazy dark brown with beige head. Sweet bourbon, sugary, milk chocolate, vanilla, pecans, sugary, boozy, chocolate milk. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Almost full bodied, low carbonation and quite boozy finish. Nice even though it’s a little boozy.
