On tap at brewery. Amber orange pour. Small beige head. Toasted malt nose has nutty notes. Flavor mirrors aroma. Toasted malt, spicy hops and brewed black tea. Accent is more on the malt. Balanced nicely. Decent.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Light malts, nicely sweet. Aggressive hops, spicy. Light pine. Rich citrus and tropical fruits. More spice on the dry back end. Full on. Good shit, especially on cask.

Tap @ Cambridge Brewing Company. 13.3% according to the board. Pours a deep amber with a fine mist, pale tan head. Aroma of toffee, malt, bourbon. Continues to taste with a smooth palate and nice depth of flavour, good malt body with integrated bourbon and a gently warming alcohol linger. Excellent barley wine.

Brewery draught, 5/16/23. Clear dark brown, small, beige head. Chocolate, raisin, brown bread, cacao. Some Vanilla and licorice. Clean, not boozey. Soft, malty, bready, chocolatey, with a hint of tar and ash. Sticky treacle, light roast and lingering cacao and bitter bakers chocolate. Love the little bit of sticky oomph to the body despite it's well attenuated character.
