Description
Brewing Brothers is founded on the belief that simplicity is best. We feel that by offering simple products we are able to focus more time on quality over quantity.
Established in 2016 by Ned and Charlie after a visit to the U.S. where they came across brewhouses. It dawned on them that the UK was falling behind in the world of craft beer. They also felt that here in the UK, the art of brewing beer is widely unappreciated, often left to an anonymous character behind closed doors. The americans celebrate the brewer and marvel at the brewery. This spurred the need for change in Ned and Charlie. So, in August 2016, with the help of Billy they opened the doors to the first of the brewing brothers brewhouses.

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a crisp, super fresh, zesty citrus, sherbet, tart grapefruit, weedy, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draught @ The Imperial, Hastings. Pours pale with a pink tint, small white head. Fairly light bodied, thin malt, not a huge pinot presence besides the pinkish hue. Quite weak overall.

Draught @ The Imperial, Hastings. Pours dark, smooth beige head. Pleasant roast and nutty chocolate nose. Grainy malt to the fore.. roasty in the right places.. decent but not much of a nitro feel to it at all. Marked down for this, otherwise an enjoyable stout.

440ml can picked up at The Imperial, Hastings, drunk at our Premier Inn. Pours a hazed gold, white head. Gentle hop nose. Fairly light, lacking body.. but nice enough as a light seshy pale, some pleasant fruity hop shades.

Can from The Hive, Crowthorne. Clear amber. Thick foamy frothy white head. Aroma has resin, marmalade (citrus) and spice over bready malts. Medium-heavy bitter resin with an edge that has both citrus and spice. Slightly quinine into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice Westie.

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma malts, lager yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, with a crisp, fresh, dry, yeasty, bready, hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A very good example of the style.
