Can, 0.50l, courtesy of P & E. Aroma of caramel, cereals, grass and faint vanilla. Clear golden color with medium frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet toasted malt, following is grassy, floral and a bit dusty, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is not bitter at all. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Super sweet and not tasty at all...

Jeder, der längere Zeit in Deutschland ist und hie und da gerne mal ein Bierchen trinkt, kommt irgenwann einmal mit Ötti in Berührung. Das Helle ist da neben dem Pils ein Klassiker. Es ist sicher kein Top-Bier, aber es gibt schlimmere.

Taste starts light sweet grainy and with slightly toasted malt, following is refreshing citrusy and yeasty, mouthfeel is light peppery, while finish is not bitter at all. Light to medium body, smooth texture and average carbonation in palate. Aroma is a bit weak, but tastes pretty ok...

Taste starts with medium sweet roasted malt and caramel, follows by honey and grass, finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Nothing special....

Blind Tasting Pours amberblonde. Big creamy stable white head. Smell is bit phenolic, light caramel. Taste is full, mild caramel, pearl necklace candy, tad sweet. very mild bitterness. high carbo, low mouthfeel.

“Oettinger Bock“, 6,7 %, Flasche (50 cl). - Kupferrotbraun, blank. - In der Nase unauffälliges Karamel, milde säuerlich-herbe Frucht, zarte fuselige und ranzige Noten (ist halt ein Hopfenextrakt-Bier). - Antrunk etwas derb karamelmalzig mit mäßiger Süße, gut abgestimmter fruchtiger Note (rote Äpfel) und leicht ruppiger Malzbittere. Stark rezent, eher schlank. Im Abgang recht kräftige krautige Hopfenbittere, schön fruchtig und zart säuerlich abgerundet. - Für ein Billig-Bier gar nicht übel, zwar ohne feinere Aromawerte aber mit Tiefgang und bocktypischer Schwere. Solider Bock.
