Pours clear light brown from the bottle. The head soon fades to a creamy layer that lasts for the duration. Aroma is banana, bubble gum, pungent old sneaker. On further reflection I think there’s even some cherry in there somewhere. Taste is mildly sweet, with banana bread and touches of spice pretty much summing things up. A watery palate serves to drag the whole brew down a notch or two. From ’it could be good’ to ’I spent my alcohol quota for the night on this?’ Well, it had to be drunk. The thing expires soon and we don’t want old beer in the cellar do we?
