Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 20/12/23. Clear reddish amber with a good sized lasting egg shell white cap. Nose is caramel malts, dried fruit rinds, herb, brown bread, biscuit. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, dried red berries, brown bread, berry fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced light earthy hop bitterness. Tidy enough red IPA ... ticks the style boxes.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 4th November 2023. Deep brownish copper with shallow pale tan foam and full lacing. Intense maltiness in aroma. Sweet toffee malt in-mouth and a finish of maltiness, overripe fruits and barleysugar. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

On cask at Euston Tap, pours a clear dark copper amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice toasted bready malt character, with wood English hops, and a touch of resins. Flavour has a nice fresh woody hop character upfront, with a toasted bready malt base. Very smooth, nicely hopped, and nicely malty too. Very good.

Draught, half-pint shared with Finn at Waterloo Tap. Lacing rings down the glass from a fair white head. Hazy yellowish body. Moderate aromas of grass and with a citric scent. Citrus flavours, moments of lemon and orange with a piney note towards the ending. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (London, 02.10.2023).
