Pint at the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a clean yellow colour with a small white head and minimal lacing. Mild floral aromas with hints of hops and yeast. Refreshing mouthfeel with decent medium body. Grainy cereal blonde ale taste with notes of the same found in the nose: yeast and hops. Does what it needs to do. Easy drinking blonde summer ale, but nothing really exciting.

Draught, Yonge St. Light amber and very bright. Aroma is balance hop and some slightly sweet malt and a dash of lemon. Sweetish malts, clean, a touch of syrupy character, touch of bitterness. A little basic.

Beer of the month, March 2014 at the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a clean amber with a slight warm cap and foamy lacing. Fruity nose with hints of honey. The sweetness eventually turns to maple. Does become much better as it warms up. The mouthfeel is on the dry side. Mild hoppy taste with fruity malts. Very light maple in the finish, but hop overpowers it. More of an amber brew, lacking the sugars it advertises. Thankfully, some Belgian Ale yeast notes are felt with time. Just not much maple.
