Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tsingtao”) was established in 1903 by German and British merchants as Germania-Brauerei Tsingtao Co., Ltd. As one of the earliest breweries in China, Tsingtao is currently the sixth largest brewer in the world.

500ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild sweet aroma of grainy pale malt, corn and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon and grassy hops in a dry, bitter, slightly metallic finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not great, but I've had worse.

Klare und hellgoldgelbe Optik und massenhaft feine Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone gibt sich dabei flaumig-stabil und ganz gut haltbar. Die Duftnoten zeigen sich leicht süßlich, getreidig-malzig mit einem leicht metallischen Unterton. Der Antrunk kommt frisch und angenehm spritzig, dünnmalzig und pilsig herb. Am Gaumen vernimmt man ebenso eine relativ dünne Malznote. Die deutlich herbe Hopfennote drückt ganz gut und durchaus angenehm an. Dennoch eine eher wässerige und einfache Angelegenheit. Rein geschmacklich aber nicht wirklich schlecht. Haptik und Süffigkeit sind ebenfalls okay, wenn auch nicht überragend. Im Nachtrunk verliert sich die zarte Malznote rasch und eine pilstypische, leicht trockene Hopfenherbe bleibt stehen. Fazit: Besser als erwartet und absolut trinkbar!

33cl bottle from Systembolaget, Trollhättan. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Grainy aroma with notes of alcohol and caramel. Smooth, somewhat balanced and more drinkable than expected.

Bottle. Light orange golden, no head. Surprisingly drinkable, though flat and quite sweet. But I had a matching beer glass with it - bonus points.

I am thirsty Smell- weak hops. Foam- thin, weak hops, weak citrus, weak non-alco notes. Head is medium ground Appearance - brewer bottle cap?, simple yet colorful label. Brewer-specific bottle. From - pint Taste- weak citrus, then hops, faint non-alco tones. Below average.
