Mildly skunky and pissy smell. Yellow with a medium head. Tastes like watered down urine. Lacks any redeeming value except for the fact that it is only mildly offensive.

Bottled. Sometime I wish I knew what was behind the Chinese beer names... This one pours pale golden. It reeks of iron. Despite being dry the mouthfeel is syrupy, and the very light body reveal sahrp thin edges of nmetal. There’s no bitterness of course. Seems like, despite the ingeniuos name, the beer is not much different than other minor Chiese brands.

Bottled (probably a rip-off of Tsingtao, aquired in Zhejiang province - the label looks near identical to Tsingtao but the western writing is different. The phone number 0532-87369903 however points towards Qingdao). Pale golden minimal head. Neutral fruity nose. Sweet and buttery, very light bodied. Metallic finish without bitterness. Empty, but sort of drinkable with some dedication.

Marginal in every way. Grassy hops with a bit of citrus. Pours with a fizzy white heead over a yellow body. Decent retention. Tastes like rice, but decently drinkable. Watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Not horrible.

Can (330ml). Yellow with little head. Some aroma of malt, maybe with grassy notes. Watery palate with moderate carbonation. Reasonable taste of malt with some hops in the finish. In 2009 I had this draught in Xi’an and would rate that more highly: 5,3,6,2,11 - Clear golden yellow with no head. Slightly malty aroma with a hint of hops. Medium body and carbonaion. The main impression of the flavour was that it was watery, but other than that there is nothing wrong with it, but there is also nothing exceptional about it. Somewhat malty with no bitterness. Served cold in 38C weather in Xi’an it was well recieved, but this is not a great beer.

"Bomber". Aroma of noble type hop with some light malt. Gold color with a white head that came and went. Near medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. The flavor is grassy hop with light malt. A bit light on flavor, but it’s ok for the style. Finishes lightly sweetish, and the hop doesn’t really build enough to balance.

Bleh. Darkish copper, somewhat like tea. No head at all, along with virtually no effervescence. Sulfuric skunky aroma. A touch of strong caramel candy. Sulfur and bad toffee on a flat palate, with a unpleasant astringency and bitterness near the finish. Immediate drain pour!
