Bottle@Yesprs - Black pour with beige head. Sweet and roasted malty aroma and taste, with some notes of chocolate, caramel, liquirice, hoppy backing, some port soaked wooden accents into the close.

This was so sweet and cloying two people couldnt finish the bottle. The first taste was nice, some bright tart raspberries, with a touch of funk. Then the after taste hit! Just an onslaught of cloying fake raspberries, and aspertame! yuck!

Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Black and opague. Malty, sugary aroma with rubber and licorice. Very sweet, sugary flavor with laurel and licorice. Salty, well rounded, hardly any roast. Deceivingly easy drinker, but lacks depth.

Bottle from theWolf, thanks! Best until 21.10.09. Almost black and opague. Mocha coffee, ash and dark chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with roast and mocha coffee. Has thinned, so probably past its peak. Still an utterly delicious beer.
