3rd August 2021. The world lager and UK cider tasting with Mat: Cheers Graham (Grumbo) for the samples. My first ever beer from Tunisia. Pale golden in colour, dirty wet cardboard aroma and taste, dry finish; not going to be a favourite of mine!

Het schoot mij ineens te binnen! Excursie door Tunesië in 1978 van de lerarenopleiding. Veel gedronken! Een gewoon pils, maar volgens mij niks mis mee.

Can 33cl, de tous les endroits, à Agadez - Niger. Rien de spécial ici, la bière de base étant déjà médiocre, cette version sans alcool s'apparente plus à une boisson type malta. Pas mal de sucre, corn syrup voire de douceur de maïs - grains et une amertume plutôt métallique.

250ml bottle from Paris Saint Biere in Paris. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is grain, herbs and skunk. Taste is sweetish, grain, skunky, a bit metallic, light bitter. Actually quite drinkable.
