Can. A hazy pale golden colored beer with a small, dense white head. Some lacing. The aroma is of the fruity kind, peppery and lightly piney, almost Saison-like. Some pale malts and a vague hint of yeast. It's full bodied and nicely carbonated, with a quite heavy bitterness. At least for the style. Fruity flavor with pine cones, some pepper and generic fruityness. Some malts and a hint of yeast. Lasting hop driven finish. Nice. 240920

Small bubbly shortlasting head, slightly cloudy light golden color. Aroma is slightly dry floral, leafs, hay, cloves, grass, flowers, minerals, paper, light malts, pepper corn, dusty hops. Taste is harsh floral, weeds, sour grass, bark, cloves, flowers, minerals, paper, pepper corn, metal tank. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry floral mouthfeel. Boring.

33cl can from Gulating, Kristiansand. Pours hazy golden with a fairly modest, white head. Fruity aroma with mild citrusy notes, tropical fruits and hints of pine. Moderate sweet with medium flavour intensity and a bitterness on the lighter side. Quite drinkable.

Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is malts with bread crust, hay and honey, as well as floral hops with grass. Pitch dry finish.

It's quite smooth on the palate, semi sweet, with a good bitterness. Grapefruit, pine cones and some resin. Medium length finish. Decent, but a bit sweet. Ok first beer from a new brewery. 240726

0,33 boks fra Vaaland 1889, via Brynes Ekspedisjon, hjemme på terrassen i sommersolen: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Lys malt, litt citrus og urter. God maltsmak. En velbalansert og lettdrikkelig sommerforfriskning, velegnet til helårsbruk.
