330ml can, #0010, bought at Storo Ølutsalg. Shared with Finn. A big white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, close to clear golden body. Inviting on the nose with ripe fruits and bread-like malts. Fine blended taste of ripe citrus fruits, hints of grapefruits, and cereal malts. Rounded malt-fruity finish with a bitter twist. Medium bodied. Pretty tasty. (Tromsø, 04.01.2025).

Luke 20/24, en 0,33 boks fra Vaaland 1889 overlevert med sedvanlig eleganse av Brynes Ølspedisjon: klar kobberrød med ok skum. Røde bær, kjeks, urter. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen, dog uten at begeistringen melder seg hos denne nissen.

330ml can picked up at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Shared with Finn. A decent fawn-coloured, bubbly head over a near-black body. Roasted malty aromas with hints of earth and bread, mid-sweet, inviting. Dark malt-driven taste with impacts of caramel malts, nuts, bread and wood. Roasted grainy ending, mid-sweet and mid-dry. Pretty good. (Tromsø, 18.12.2024).

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, small white head. Aroma of grain and herbal hops. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour has distinct bittering hops throughout, very bitter aftertaste. Hardly a beer I'll bother to buy again.

Can @ home. Rather clear, dark brown almost black body under a fine, dense beige head. Nice, smooth malty aroma with hint of caramel and dry fruit. Taste is really smooth as well, feels almost silky with sweet malt, mild roast, dry fruit, some toffee and balanced bitterness. Fine body with same, smooth, long lasting aftertaste. A fine, well made, full bodied bock that feels like a crossover between bock and porter.
