(Bottle 50 cl) Black, very black indeed, with a thick, creamy almost cream-like head. Very dry and roasted with typical coffee-like flavours. Surprisingly full-bodied for the rather low ABV. 061003

(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark brown, almost black with a rather small head and rather low carbonation. Top-fermented and very malty with a good bitterness and an underlying sweetness. Very full-bodied. Actually reminds me of a Belgian "Dubbel". 090603

(Bottle 50 cl) Pretty, dark amber-coloured beer with a small but quite dense head. Unpasteurized ale and very English in style. Quite full and not really that bitter - actually the sweet notes are more pronounced. Slightly roasted caramel. Apparantly brewed with some oats. 260503

Bottled. Clear golden, average head. Rich aroma of citric hops with buttery malt beneath. Fruity and medium bodied with rich malt sweetness and dense, soft mouthfeel, typical Jämtland style excellent malt character! On top of that there’s balanced grassy, citric hops, leading to pleasantly bitter finish.
Not spectacular in any way, but a thoroughly well made and inspired lager. Would be a lovely beer to drink a sunny spring day when the snow starts to melt, too bad it’s -6C and really windy right now...

Bottled. Clear nut brown, brief head. Complex aroma with grass and oranges behind a wealth of candyish raspberries. Very sweet and richly malty, with soft mouthfeel. The malt sweetness is intense and keeps the hop flavours in check. The finish has more berries along with resiny bitterness. It has all the features that makes Jämtland’s beers great, but it’s too sweet for my liking.

Bottled. Golden, a bit cloudy, minor white foamy head. Strong hoppy and fruity aroma with hints of yeast. Strong bitter taste just like Fallen Angel and Heaven. Bitter and very dry aftertaste.

Bottled. Clear copper brown, small white head. Aroma consists of hops and roast, with notes of citrus. Very wellbalanced taste of malt and roast. Bitterness in the taste is a bit delayed. Best bitter I’ve had so far.

Bottled. Black/dark brown opaque, decent brown head. Malty and a bitter hoppy aroma. Bitter hoppy taste with roast coming in strong. Aftertaste is more bitter than the bitterness while drinking it.
