Vi nærmer oss slutten på nok en solid kveld på Cardinal (Mi2), hvor vi har hatt mange gode øl, topp stemning og højt skum. Lett uklar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Søte tropiske frukter, gule epler og en halv banan. Mersmaken er upåklagelig. 0,33 boks. Her i Stavangerområdet er vi velsignet med et perlekjede av dyktige og entusiastiske bryggere, og Craig er definitivt en av dem.

Fra fat på Bøker&Børst, under Gladmaten juli-19: uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Saftig, frisk og fruktig med søt citrus og kvae fra granskuddene og deilig fruktighet fra kveiken gir en harmonisk øl med personlighet og høy ff (forfrisningsfaktor). Antydning til mandariner. En norsk Fynsk forår? Og mersmaken var hjertelig til stede hele veien. So smooth.

Bottle. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a finger-thick white head. Sour-fruity aroma with grapefruit, lemon and some passionfruit. Not much evidence of the pale malts. Medium bodied, a bit undercarbonated perhaps, mouthfeel, quite dry, with mostly citrusy flavors. Passionfruit and some lime, but mostly grapefruit and lemon. Long grapefruity finish with passionfruit. A refreshing one, but it lacks a bit on body and complexity. 190720

Smaksprøve fra fat på ØST, juli-19: klar, dyp rubinrød farge med fint skum som varer. Mild duft og tydelig, god smak med solbær, blåbær, bringebær, rips og vanilje. Deilig bærsyre i avslutningen.

Fra fat på Bøker og Børst juni-19: brunsvart med cremeskum som varer hele veien ned (det tok forsåvidt ikke lange stunden, så god som denne var). Feit og fin munnfølelse, mørke sjokolademuffins, dessertchokolader og lakris i en solid maltkropp. Splendid, lingering afterburn and a superb stout if chili is your cup of tea.
