Can. An unclear deep red beer with a minimal sized head. Just a few bubbles actually. Weird but interesting aroma with raspberry candy and cough medicine running the show. Some blackcurrant and licorice. It's semi-sweet and smoothly carbonated, with a touch of saltyness. Medium bodied. The flavor feels messy as hell, with berries, star anise, licorice and lactose hitting the tastebuds over and over, one at the time at first, then starting to show up all at the same time, along with some yoghurt notes and lemon. Long candy-ish and spiced finish. Weird, but nice in a way. Don't think I could finish a can on my own. 210717

KYGGK 130621. Golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, malt. Flavor is yeast, fruit, malt, citrus, tropical fruit. Ordinary beer.

8-4-7-3-14 Can, #001, 15 months before bbd. Pours deep dark red, with a somewhat short lived big creamy red head. Aroma is salty whiffs, liquorice, black currants, aronia and dark forrest berries, as well as sweet notes of fruit fudge and lactose. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is lactic notes with raspberries and dark berries, as well as salty liquorice. Interesting, and rather quaffable.

Can from Gulating. Slightly unclear pale golden body under a big, foamy white head. Aroma has citric fruit and yeast. Taste is light and refreshing with pale malt, citric fruit, oranges, hint of grapefruit and some zesty bitterness. Medium body and same refreshing aftertaste. A nice, quaffable hoppy blond

330 ml can, as Yeastside Zippa Session IPA, from Det Gode Brygg, Kvadrat. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of pineapple, mango and papaya, hints of citrus and spruce. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of tropical fruits and citrus again, but not very sweet. Sufficient malts in the background. Hints of piney hops, but the bitterness is low. Enjoyable beer.

0,33 boks fra fristeriet i Lars Hertervigs gate, hjemme: intens rubinrød farge med flott skum som imidlertid forsvant som dugg for solen. Bærsyrlig aroma og smak med solbær, bringebær, den evinnelige lactosen pluss anis og lakris. De to sistnevnte dominerer fullstendig i avslutningen.

Luke 13 i min av og til dobbeltbunnede (!) julekalender: uklar korngylden med fint skum som varer. Elegant forfriskende karakter med milde citursfrukter og de obligatoriske tropiske. God maltkropp. Superfrisk, helt fersk og meget lettdrikkelig. Leverandøren var naturligvis nærmeste nabo til Straensenterets hovedinngang.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Clear brown colour, off-white head. Brown and roast malts in the aroma. Brown and roast malts in the flavour too, notes of brown bread and caramel, but not sweet. Hints of berries.

Fra fat på Mi2 Cardinal nov-20: klar, rødlig mahogny med fint skum som varer. Røde bær, knekk, syrlige urter og hint av appelsinkjeks. Slank, forfriskende og lettdrikkelig med mild bitterhet men dessverre nokså forglemmelig.
