473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate foamy head that settles quickly. Aromas of cola, cinnamon and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with some hot pepper in the finish. Too little body for this type of stout.

Pale, opaque, pineapple, good bitterness, medium bitterness, soft pale malt, it’s good stuff.

473mL can (thanks Matt). Pours a clear muddy brown-orange with a beige head. Tons of pumpkin, cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon on the nose. Flavour has more of those same winter spices, and a decent pasty malt base. Good body, actually provides a decent support for the "pumpkin spice" bit. It's still just a pumpkin beer, but I liked this more than I expected.

Powerfully rich nose with caramel, roasted malt and rich dark berries. The current version is a much bigger, American style barleywine than the original more European version a few years ago. This version is rich with dark, heavy flavours. The caramel malts are heavily roasted and sweet. Ripe dark fruit and raisins support the taste. Hops balance the rich, thick and full body. One of the best barleywines I have ever tasted.

On tap at their East Van taproom. Pours gold with a slight haze and a white head. Banana, cloves, and bubblegum on the nose. Flavour has tons of sweet esters, bubblegum and banana with a bit of cloves. Slightly boozy on the finish, like fermented wheat runoff. A bit off-kilter and hard to get behind.

On tap at their East Van taproom. Pours murky dull yellow with a white head. Sweet tropical fruit and a bit of yeast on the nose. Flavour is yeasty with grapefruit and overripe mango; finishes bitter with a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Pretty standard for a Vancouver hazy.

On tap at their East Van taproom. Pours murky dull yellow with a white head. Pine, citrus, and a bit of yeast on the nose. Flavour has woody pine, citrus peels, a bit yeast; thin and dry finish. Not great.

A red copper ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, pumpkin spices, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light ginger, pumpkins, light cloves, light mineral notes, pleasant.
