Tap at Tilt, Birmingham. New Kent brewery tick for me. Amber brown with frothy off white head, good retention and conditioning. It has a biscuit malt with dusty and hedgerow hops with a light spice. Doesn't sound like much but there is an excellent balance to this, bittersweet, somewhat dry but nice mouthfeel.

Can from The Green Goddess. Black pour with a wispy tan head. Aromas of cola, cinnamon, toffee, caramel. Taste is cola, cinnamon, liquorice toffee. Spicy sweet action.

Cask at the Nottingham beer festival. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty chocolate. Bittersweet.

Tap at Brewdog Shoreditch. A opaque dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is meaty roast, liquorice, malt loaf, pinch of salt, cinnamon. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty, toasted malt loaf, cinnamon, rum and raisin, light char. Palate is semi sweet, light spice, brown sugars, mellow carbonation. Good.

Keg at Brewdoge Clerkenwell, 21/08/24. Black with a lasting tan head. Nose is dark malts, jammy berry, nutty, charr, roast. Taste comprises mellow peanut butter, roasted bite, spice, cocoa sprinkle, blackcurrant jam. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay offering ... more jammy berries than PNB ... maybe not a bad thing?
