Can from HoTM. It pours jet black with a small khaki head. The aroma is lovely ...big boozy good times, heady and intoxicating notes of rum, rum soaked oak, sweet, marzipan, ripe cherry, Bakewell pudding, vanilla, toasted coconut, jammy berry and dull leather and charred notes. The taste is slick, oily, unctuous, sticky, oily, bitter - sweet, dark chocolate, gateaux, vanilla custard, toasted coconut, so much lovely rum, rum soaked oak, rum baba, chewy oak, dried fruits, berry, crunchy cherry, vinous, warming booze, Neapolitan ice cream, espresso con Panna and light tannin with a slick, rummy finish. Fulsome body and fine carbonation. Slick in the mouth. Intoxicating rum. Good depth of flavour. Super impressive. If you like a rum ba impy Stout this is for you. Thier best so far.
