(Can, "thanks" FatPhil) How can a beer be so watery as this one is? Very weak aroma. With good imagination taste can be found.

Can (330ml). Amber yellow with quickly disappearing thin white head. Little aroma, maybe cooked vegetables. Medium body with lively carbonation. Very little flavour, a little malty sweetness and perhaps too much alcohol taste at first with an metallic unpleasant bitter finish. (My can suggested it was made in Guangdong, China at the Kirin Brewery (Zhuhai) Co. Ltd., not Kirin Japan)

Canned (thanks omhper). yellow colour, small white head, which disappears quickly. Aroma is maize, slight malts. Flavour is surprisingly sweetish with some malts (?) that reminds of Eastern European lagers (and strong lagers). Not even so bad. Dry hayish finish and aftertaste.

Golden color, no head. Grainy malty, cardboardish "East European type" aroma. Very East European feeling here - maybe it is that raw, grainy malty flavour. Medium bodied and fruity, sweetish notes in the finish. Raw palate but not thin like the most of these Chinese 4-5% beers.

Typical Chinese outlook: pale yellow, very small white head. Fruity nose. Starts with tickling carbonation then softens. Sweet maltyness with late harshness. Mostly clean but overall very weak palate. Not the worst Chinese though.

[Bottled] Pale yellow, brief fizzy head. Fruity rice aroma. Sweet with strong popped rice flavour, light body and very clean mouthfeel. Very clean flavourwise. Slight metallic finish.

Had this before, a gift from Per in 2004. Today I drink the can I bought myself in Macau, at the 7-Eleven (Zhuhai is right across from Macau). Golden colour. Thin head. Smells like sulphur and a bit of paint. Body is a bit light, flavour a bit swilly. Every bit as uninspiring as last time I had it.
