Bottle, Co-Op, Hoylake. Pours Golden, with dissipating thin white head. Honey and slight lemon aroma. Honey is not too overpowering and strikes a nice balance with the hopiness. This is a solidly refreshing if uninspiring number which honey lovers should dig.

Bottle pcked up by Loz for me from the Co-op in Headington, Oxford 02-05-07. Poured a very light golden colour not too much of a head but what there was, was white and fast dissapearing. Aroma was slighly malty but honey although slight could be detected. Tasted quite crisp and refreshing a real nice summers day beer, the honey was there but it was quite delicate and didn’t make this beer oversweet in any way. Not bad at all!

Bottle. Deep straw colour with a short lasting white head. Complex aroma, with clear signs of honey and malt, and some hops. Flavour is initially dominated by the honey, but this then gives way to a pleasant bitterness before leaving an aftertaste of more honey. Very nice indeed.

500ml bottle from Co-op. Pale gold colour with declicate honey/hay hop aroma. Not much in mouth, soft and then strong good honey finish. Reminds me of a golden summer ale with a good dollop of smooth tasty honey on the end. As it progresses down the glass the good hop on the finish grows which then is overtaken by the honey. I like honey beers and this I though was a very fine example.

Bottled(500ml). - mild hoppy aroma with trace of sweet given by honey (23% of Fairtrade honey from Chile) and trace of herbal bitterness, very good beer but not for drinking in large amounts.

Bottled. Pale beer with a honeycomb consistency head. The aroma is quite strongly hopped and the flavour is honey, hopped and rather over-powering and initially difficult to drink. Overall better than Fullers Honey Dew.
