Can from ASDA, Halifax. Hazy golden with a carbonation that’s very evident in the palate. The fizziness doesn’t mask its low strength but a pleasant enough hoppy-fruitiness is to be found here.

Can from ASDA Supermarket, Halifax. Golden with a small head. Has a nice pale ale texture and taste, some dryness, with its strength not too evident amongst its lightly fizzed hoppiness and hints of fruit.

330ml can. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is pilsner malt, hay, a little gluey, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, malt, light citrus, mineral, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A simple and quite inoffensive pilsner. Good value for money.

This is really rather decent. An interesting halfway house between a smooth and creamy stout and something a little livelier, with a good malty chocolate to it. Very quaffable.

As a Brewed for [supermarket] this is pretty solid. Bittersweet tropical fruit, hops, a bit of caramel to smooth it out, crisp and with a decent dry backtaste. Not too shabby at all.

basically what you'd expect of an Asda-branded American IPA. It's a light, zesty hoppy thing but it doesn't have any nasties and I'm drinking this on a nice warm day and it's crisp and fresh so it hits the spot.

330ml can: BB 4th Jun 19. Drank at home on 10th May 19, poured into a thistle shaped glass because I like my dark beers in this style of glass. Looked good, very dark/black bodied, deep tanned crown. Malty. semi-sweet and milky in nature. Very pleasant all round and good value too!

330ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a huge frothy tan head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is roasty malt, some lactose, chocolate, liqouirce. The flavour is moderate sweet, liqouirce bitter with a roasty, cacao, light pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Not so bad, but was way over-carbonated.

Brewer undisclosed, so put here. A deep gold beer, with some ripe malts, touch of sweetness and lightly bitter finish. Lack character, but there are worse beers out there.
