Can from ASDA Supermarket, Manchester. Black with an off-white head. Perhaps misnamed, it's not what you would call 'velvet' having a gritty texture and taste. Nevertheless it's fine enough despite not being too flavoursome with its roasted notes.

Hazy pale blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have punchy pineapple, grapefruit and some lime zest bitterness too.

Can from ASDA Supermarket, Manchester. Hazy pale golden with a head. Tropical fruity with some light citrus, going down the palate with a lot more ease than its strength might suggest. Has some good hoppy notes too.

Yellow colour with light haze. Aroma and flavour have orange oils and leafy, lightly skunky hop. Good stuff.

Can from Asda, near Whitby. Pours clear golden amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of resin, pine and caramel. Taste is more of the same. Light citrus. Bitter finish with an edge of caramel.

Clear rose oink colour with no head. Aroma has spiky ginger. There's an initial hit of that in the taste too. Not so much rhubarb. Just a generic jammy red fruit sweetness.
